Workshop: Mission Possible
Facilitated by Pastor Phong Tran
A Christian mission is the commitment to answer Christ's call to share the Gospel, relying on God's wisdom and guidance. The core of the Christian mission is obedience to Christ, who instructed, "Go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 8:18-20)
In this workshop, we will learn how to establish and uphold a Spirit of Mission in your church through these four key points: (1) Intentional Prayer (2) Immersed in God’s Word (3) Sharing the Vision (4) Organizing a committee.
Workshop: Connected or Consumed? Navigating Life, Identity, and Faith in the Digital Age
Facilitated by Dr. Mijin Park, Oak Health Foundation
Today's Gen Z youth and college students are extremely skilled at using technology and social media. We need to pause and learn how digital culture impacts our mental health, relationships, identity, and daily lives. Through practical insight and relatable discussion, we will explore both the benefits and hidden dangers of unhealthy digital habits while learning how to create healthier balance and intentionality with technology. This workshop encourages young people to use technology as a tool for growth rather than becoming consumed by it.
Workshop: Uncovered
Facilitated by Hosea Huynh
Many people live in hiding— hidden from God and others—because of shame. This seminar will explore the biblical reasons we hide, provide a framework for processing our current inner state, and help us experience God's healing presence so we can walk in freedom and be empowered to help others do the same.
Workshop: Seek First: Kingdom-Minded Dating and Relationships
Facilitated by Samee Aboubakare
What does it look like to seek first the kingdom of God when it comes to dating, being single, and who you might marry one day? Whether you’re in a relationship, hoping to be, or content being single, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of how to put God’s kingdom first in this part of your life and trust His timing with the rest.
Workshop: You Suck and Don't Matter - The Devastating Lies From the Enemy
Facilitated by Nhan Nguyen
There are two major lies the enemy often whispers to us, telling us that we are not valuable and that we do not matter. This workshop aims to take a theological approach in reviewing our true value and God-given identity, as well as the true purpose and necessity for us to be about (and for) the Kingdom of God. Additionally, practical encouragement will be provided through sharing personal examples of God can call a young person to join in the Kingdom work that is already taking place.
Workshop: Helping Young Adults Navigate Life’s Transitions
Facilitated by Kim Garcia
More than any prior generation, GenZ young adults are experiencing multiple life transitions simultaneously and in non linear ways. This workshop explores major transitions that young adults experience and ways the church can help young adults navigate through these changes.
Workshop: Parenting with the Heart of God
Facilitated by June Tran
This workshop equips parents to reflect God’s shepherding heart in the home. We will explore how to care for our children’s physical and emotional needs, engage them with patience and godly wisdom, and lead with both love and authority. We will also examine why parenting can feel difficult even when we understand and agree with biblical truth. By observing how God restores Elijah, parents can learn to nurture and guide their children in ways that reflect the character of God and prepare them for continued growth in faith.
Rebuilding & Healing Relationships Workshop
Rebuilding and Healing Relationships
Dr. Esther Park and Dr. Mijin Park, and Q&A with Alice Zhu, LMFT
How do our attachment styles manifest in our relationships (marriage, parenthood, workplace, friendships)? Insecure attachment styles can lead to unhealthy beliefs and responses to ourselves, to others, and to God. Join us as we learn how the Good news of Jesus Christ, which represents a God who loves us unconditionally and knows us completely, restores us onto a path towards wholeness according to the Lord’s original design.

EM Families Breakout
Marriages & Relationships with Children
Chardonnay
Matthew 6:1-2 Praying God’s will be done regarding our marriages and families.
This breakout session will have two sections. The first will be looking at God’s will for marriage focusing on how husbands and wives can honor the Lord in the way they love, serve, and treat one another. From Ephesians 5:25 and 33, participants will learn how husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church and how wives are called to respect their husbands in the Lord. From Matthew 6, participants will be reminded to seek first God’s Kingdom, pray for His will to be done, and trust Him for their daily needs as they grow in their relationship with Him.
The second section will focus on parents being called to sow seeds of faithfulness. In Galatians 6:1–10, Paul encourages the church to restore one another gently, carry one another’s burdens, and not grow weary in doing good, knowing that in due season they will reap a harvest if they do not give up. We can make application to parenting in this, as parents are called to lovingly guide, restore, carry their children’s burdens, and persevere in doing good for their children.
